Inboxes App is shutting down

Inboxes.app / InboxesApp.com will be closing down in the coming month(s).

Inboxes was built as a privacy tool which ultimately attracted automated and high volume use which falls outside its intended purpose. I am no longer able to give this free service the time and attention it deserves, and closing it properly is the right course of action.

What this means for you

• Your access to Inboxes will remain available until the service closes.
• If you depend on Inboxes for access to other services, please update those accounts to another email now.
• New emails will soon stop being generated and a banner will announce the final shutdown date.
• Billing was disabled a long time ago to ensure no paying customers could be affected.

What happens to your data

• Inboxes already automatically deletes emails older than 90 days.
• All remaining user data will be deleted when the service and website shuts down.
• The email domain will then be set up to reject all inbound messages.
